End User Terms

For customers who book rentals, tours, and reservations through Ribbe-powered operators.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. About these terms

These End User Terms apply to individuals ("you", "end users") who book, rent, or reserve products, tours, or services through a business that uses Ribbe as its booking and rental platform ("Operator"). Ribbe provides the technology; the Operator is your counterparty for the actual rental, tour, or service.

2. Your booking is with the Operator

When you place a reservation, purchase a ticket, or rent equipment, you are entering into an agreement with the Operator — not with Ribbe. The Operator sets pricing, availability, cancellation policies, waivers, safety rules, and refund terms.

3. Account and information

You agree to provide accurate, current information when you book. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify the Operator or Ribbe immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by the Operator or its payment provider. Ribbe may facilitate the transaction but does not act as the merchant of record unless expressly stated. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes are handled per the Operator's policy.

5. Waivers, safety, and rules

Rentals and tours may require you to sign a waiver, follow safety instructions, wear required equipment, and meet minimum age or skill requirements. You are responsible for reading and following the Operator's rules and any applicable law.

6. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellation windows, no-show fees, weather policies, and rescheduling rules are set by the Operator and shown at checkout. Please review them before booking.

7. Damage and lost equipment

You are responsible for returning rented equipment in the same condition, less normal wear. The Operator may charge you for damage, loss, theft, or late return per the terms disclosed at checkout or in your waiver.

8. Acceptable use

You will not use Ribbe or Operator services to break the law, harass others, submit false information, attempt to disrupt the platform, or resell bookings without permission. We may cancel bookings that violate these rules.

9. Communications

By booking, you agree to receive transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, receipts, safety updates) by email, SMS, or push. Marketing messages are opt-in and can be unsubscribed at any time.

10. Privacy

Your information is handled per Ribbe's Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Operator's own privacy policy. Please review both.

11. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Ribbe provides the platform "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ribbe is not liable for the acts or omissions of Operators, for injuries or losses arising out of a rental or tour, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these End User Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Contact

Questions? Email [email protected]. For booking-specific issues, please contact the Operator directly.
