Our provision of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service . 1. Our role For information about the businesses that subscribe to ribbe and the individuals who administer their accounts, Rentitbiz acts as a controller . For personal information that a subscribing business (an “Organization”) enters into the Service about its own customers, Rentitbiz acts as a processor on that Organization’s behalf, and that Organization’s own privacy policy governs how it handles that information. 2. Information we collect Information you provide Account and profile — name, business name, email, phone number, and login credentials. Billing — billing contact details and the payment method you provide. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Content — data you and your users enter into the Service, which may include information about your customers, orders, rentals, and payments. Support — information you provide when you contact us or submit a request. Information we collect automatically Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken, collected through cookies and similar technologies. 3. How we use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; to process subscriptions and payments; to communicate with you about your account, including service and security notices; to provide support and respond to your requests; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues; and to comply with legal obligations. 4. How we share information We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows: Service providers (subprocessors) who help us run the Service, under contract and only as needed. These include, depending on the features you use: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS/messaging), SendGrid (email), Google (calendar, mail, and analytics integrations), Anthropic (AI features), and our cloud hosting and storage providers. Your Organization — if you are a user within an Organization, administrators of that Organization can access your account activity within the Service. Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service. Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. 5. Payments Payments are processed by Stripe. When you or your customers pay through the Service, payment details are provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s privacy policy. Rentitbiz receives limited transaction information (such as amount, status, and the last four digits and brand of a card) but does not store full card numbers. 6. Cookies We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works. 7. Data retention We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When an account is closed, we make data available for export for a reasonable period and then delete or anonymize it, except where retention is required. 8. Security We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 9.
